I was sitting in the backseat of my friend’s car, waiting for our turn to spar at a taekwondo tournament, when I reached down and picked up his copy of Lao Tzu’s Tao Te Ching. As I read, my entire being ignited. Here was someone, finally, putting into words the essence of what I’d felt so deeply at seven. Lao Tzu validated what I’d known all along: the unseen was not only real but powerful, shaping my life in ways I was only beginning to understand.Though my father hoped I’d become a doctor or lawyer, I wanted to pursue business. Life, however, had other plans. While attending an awareness conference at an osteopathic college, I witnessed a doctor using his hands to heal in a way that resonated with something deep within me. I could sense the energy moving between them, as if I were part of that healing exchange. Intrigued, I shadowed a doctor who practiced this work and became captivated by the idea of healing through touch. This path led me to holistic medicine, where I could use my hands as instruments of healing.In my early practice, something unusual started happening. Silent “movies” of my patients’ memories began to play before my eyes as I worked with them. At first, I didn’t know what to make of it or how to use this insight, so I simply observed, letting these visions remain a mysterious aspect of my practice. For ten years, I kept them at arm’s length—an intriguing trick but nothing more.Then one day, I felt an undeniable call to listen more closely to these visions, to be guided by them, and to learn from what I was experiencing. As I leaned in, my approach to healing transformed. ADHD symptoms, autoimmune conditions—cases that seemed untreatable—began to resolve, sometimes even overnight. I knew I was on the right path. Gradually, I set aside my formal training and took a hands-off approach, allowing the healing process to flow naturally. The results were beyond anything I’d dreamed of.For the past 13 years, I’ve worked with the deep memories of my clients—the inherited energies from fathers and mothers, ancestral patterns, and karmic ties that shape who we are.
