FAQ
How do I request a new feature?
If you would like to see a feature on Gyfts, you can easily add it to the Features Request page. This is where all new items for the Roadmap begin.
When will I see my idea on the roadmap?
We love hearing your ideas! Our team carefully looks at each one. We group similar ideas under one request to figure out how to create features that bring the most value to our Gyfts community. While not every idea makes it onto the public roadmap, the ones we’re actively exploring end up in the “Under Consideration” section.
How do you decide and prioritize what features to build?
How do we pick the best new features for Gyfts? We think about:
- Does it make Gyfts even MORE awesome for our Community?
- Will lots of people find it helpful?
- Will it keep Gyfts super-fast and secure?
- Could it make setting up Gyfts even easier?
- Will it pave the way for even more fantastic features down the line?
- Does it fit our vision of making Gyfts fun and meaningful for everyone?
What does Under Consideration mean?
Got a cool feature idea? Drop it in our “Features Request,” where the Community gets to vote on it! Our team will check it out and figure out how to make it awesome. Share your thoughts on the feature – tell us why it matters to you. Just remember, features in “Under Consideration” are great ideas we’re exploring, but we don’t have a set timeline for them yet.
What does Planned mean?
When a feature gets a thumbs-up, it moves to our “Planned” tab. Your awesome feedback helps our team figure out the best way to build it. While we don’t have an exact release date yet, we’re definitely committed to making it happen!
What does In Development mean?
Here’s how features go from ideas to reality: When a feature gets the green light, we give it a target release window – usually within six months or a quarter. Then, we break the work into smaller chunks and fit it into our development sprints. As we make progress, we get more and more confident about when it’ll be ready. Ideally, by the start of a quarter, we know precisely what awesome stuff is coming in the next 12 weeks!
How long does it take for a feature to be released?
Remember, creating incredible features takes time! Some things might be ready in a flash, while others need months (or even longer) to plan and perfect. Sometimes, we even hit unexpected bumps in the road that made us change course. Please think of this roadmap as a journey, not a strict schedule.
Will I get a response to my idea or feedback?
We love hearing your ideas and feedback – every single one matters! If we’re extra excited about a suggestion, someone from our team might reach out for more info. Usually, for roadmap and feature requests, we’ll keep you updated by changing the idea’s status within the roadmap itself
